PRESS RELEASE

October 10th 2011

Third phase of BT investment reflects value of Sabien M2G technology

Company now firmly on blue chip procurement radar

Robust sales pipeline through 2011 and into 2012

Bullish growth forecasts in difficult trading conditions

Sabien Technology Group plc, the manufacturer and supplier of M2G, a boiler energy efficiency technology, has confirmed a major – £997,625 – contract win with telecommunications giant BT*(see editor’s notes).

The company said the level of investment by the leading blue chip company showed yet again how major UK companies increasingly value Sabien’s ability to deliver proven technology in a crucial sector.

The order, which represents ongoing phases of M2G installations within BT’s 7,500 UK-wide building estate, reflects Sabien’s continuing success in attracting high profile companies to invest in its service.

It represents a significant and developing commercial relationship between Sabien and BT, which began in 2009.

The significantly higher value of the new order demonstrates the degree to which BT is determined to invest in innovative technology.

“The fact that BT has placed orders worth just under £1m with us reflects the continuing momentum of business improvement as we move into the final quarter of 2011, and bodes extremely well for the Group’s sales pipeline through to the end of this year and into 2012,” said chief executive Alan O’Brien.

“Sabien is now on the radar of leading blue chip companies with procurement departments which need to know they are investing in proven technology which will pay dividends over the longer term.

“The win follows hard on the heels of other major contracts such as the £457,000 win with Hampshire County Council earlier this year, a £264,000 contract with the London Borough of Greenwich and orders for  £300,000  from Geffen, our US distributor,” he said.

“Sabien, in its relatively short life span, has rapidly evolved to become a major player in a fiercely competitive sector.

“Our shareholders will be pleased to know that we are continuing to attract high end investment from companies which have to answer to their own shareholders – and our sales pipeline for the coming twelve months will underpin our view that our progress will gather significant momentum in a tough commercial arena,” added O’Brien.

Earlier this year (May 2011), Sabien was awarded the distinguished Jones Lang LaSalle’s inaugural Supplier of Distinction Award for Energy & Sustainability, following the installation of its patented M2G boiler load optimisation technology at a number of Jones Lang LaSalle’s UK client sites, delivering significant gas savings and reduced carbon emissions.

“In a year which has been characterised by very tough trading conditions, our sales pipeline continues to grow significantly, and we anticipate that many other major UK and overseas blue chip companies comparable in size to BT will invest in our commercially proven technology,” said O’Brien.

About Sabien Technology

Founded in March 2004 by Alan O’Brien, UK-based Sabien Technology specialises in providing proven and commercially viable technology to reduce carbon emissions and energy usage for private and public organisations. Sabien Technology Group Plc floated on AIM in 2006.

The M2G is a patented energy efficient technology designed to reduce fuel consumption in commercial boilers.

M2G dynamically responds to changing load demand by measuring, identifying and removing dry cycling thus maximising efficiency under all conditions.

M2G can be retro-fitted and fully integrates and complements existing controls, such as BMS, boiler sequencing, weather compensation and building optimisation controls.

Using intelligent software and hardware, the M2G unit improves a boiler’s efficiency by reducing energy wastage. For further information, please visit our website www.sabien-tech.co.uk
